Parking ticket – Multa
Parking violation, Parking citation, Parking ticket – Multa (Spain)
is a notice of monetary penalty issued for parking your car in a restricted place or for parking in an unauthorized manner also Zona Verte o Zona Azul (green or blue area) in the Spanish cities, however, restrictions apply to such parking, and may result in an offence being committed.
DON’T pay the ticket if you plan to appeal; as it’s admitting liability. An appeal will be granted in all cases in Spain because they are errors in the law or proceedings.
You just have to fill in the form and send it to the Mayor of the city where you have parked within a time period of 15 days as certificated letter.
